Label Machine Operator - D Shift

Working the D Shift (Wednesday midnight to 6 am and Thursday, Friday, and Saturday 6 pm‑6 am) with a starting rate of $20‑21/hr.

• Operate the label machines properly and efficiently to meet production deadlines according to the daily job schedule.
• Minimize waste or misuse of raw materials.
• Communicate label production issues with the Production Supervisor and/or Facility Manager.
• Perform distribution functions as needed.
• Keep accurate logs of raw materials used in the production of labels, including dates and  of cartons of product to maintain a FIFO inventory and identify any QC problems with raw materials.
• Use ERP system to log time and materials for each job.
• Maintain all dies and keep the work area clean, organized, and safe, using required PPE and following all safety rules and procedures.
• May be required to work overtime or on another shift as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
• Regular attendance is essential.
• Maintain a drug‑free workplace and comply with all Company policies and safety procedures.

• Stand 2/3 to full time on the shift daily.
• Use hands and fingers to handle and feel 1/3 to 2/3 of the shift daily.
• Reach with hands and arms 1/3 to 2/3 of the shift daily.
• Lift 50 pounds 1/3 to 2/3 of the shift daily.
• Require close vision (clear at 20‑inches or less).
• Color vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors).

• High school diploma or GED.
• One to two years related experience and/or training.
• Strong mechanical skills to analyze and operate label machine equipment.
