Under the direction of the Woodshop Supervisor or Lead, the Framer is responsible for the safe and efficient assembly of wood frames using a variety of hand tools and power tools. Framers work forty hours a week and may be asked for overtime.

• Receive cut hardwood/chipboard from machine operator
• Read diagrams of styles and SKUs to determine appropriate procedures for attaching parts
• Operate hand tools and large staple guns for extended periods
• Count and report rejected parts (notify assistant supervisor)
• Sort wood to assemble furniture frame
• Conduct quality check on finished frame
• Clean and maintain work area

• Manual dexterity with hand and power tools, including staple guns
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with all departments
• Flexibility to work a changing schedule according to production demands
• Attention to detail and quality
• Ability to work in cold and hot environments (non-climate controlled)
• Ability to work with strict deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
• Ability to lift a minimum 50 lbs
• Ability to work in a production environment using safety equipment, including PPE
• Ability to read diagrams and drawings
• Ability to read a tape measure
