We are seeking a Manufacturing Planner with experience in electronics assembly to develop, manage, and optimize production plans that support on‑time delivery and efficient operations. This role works closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure material readiness, accurate scheduling, and smooth workflow throughout the manufacturing process.
What you will be doing:Manufacturing Planning & Scheduling
- Create and maintain detailed production plans based on customer requirements and forecasts.
- Monitor manufacturing schedules, identify risks or delays, and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure availability of components, materials, and tooling required for production.
- Review and manage product forecasts to support effective inventory planning.
- Optimize inventory levels to balance material readiness with cost efficiency.
- Work with engineering, production, purchasing, and quality teams to address production issues and maintain workflow continuity.
- Participate in reviewing new designs to assess potential impacts on materials, cost, and inventory.
- Track progress against production schedules and delivery commitments.
- Prepare summary reports related to order status, delivery performance, and planning metrics.
- Internal Stakeholder Support
- Communicate with internal sales or account teams to address order questions, resolve issues, and provide status updates.
- Strong understanding of electronics manufacturing processes, assembly workflows, and production environments.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel or equivalent tools for analysis and reporting.
- Experience with planning or ERP/MRP systems (SAP or similar strongly preferred).
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work across multiple departments.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in planning and documentation.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or manufacturing coordination.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related business or technical field preferred.
Salary/Rate Range:$75,000–$90,000
