Operations Manager
A nationally recognized general contractor specializing in complex urban developments is seeking a Project Manager to lead the delivery of a premier high rise residential tower in the Dallas market. This is a high visibility opportunity to take full ownership of a luxury vertical build from active construction through completion, partnering closely with executive leadership and field teams. Key Responsibilities- Lead on site execution in partnership with the Superintendent and field teams.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for ownership, architects, and consultants.
- Ensure performance aligns with schedule, budget, safety, and quality standards.
- Develop and manage the master schedule, monitoring critical path and recovery plans as needed.
- Oversee project budget, forecasting, subcontractor buyout, and change order management.
- Track long lead procurement items to protect milestone commitments.
- Manage subcontractor performance, compliance, and pay applications.
- Maintain proper contract administration and project documentation.
- Oversee RFIs, submittals, and drawing review to minimize risk and coordination issues.
- Prepare regular financial and schedule reports, identifying and addressing project risks proactively.
- 8 to 12 years of experience managing ground up high rise residential or multifamily construction projects.
- Demonstrated success leading vertical construction from preconstruction through closeout.
- Strong expertise in budgeting, forecasting, procurement, and contract administration.
- Proficiency with construction management platforms such as Procore, Primavera or MS Project, Bluebeam, and Excel.
- Ability to interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills with the ability to manage large, diverse project teams.
- Experience with luxury condominium or branded residential developments.
- Proven ability to independently lead complex, high value construction projects.
- Strong financial acumen managing significant project budgets.
