You’ll run your district your way — building your team, designing growth strategies, and shaping the culture — all while helping other entrepreneurs succeed in theirs.
Key Functions Support Agency Owner Development- Coach new and experienced agency owners to help drive profitable growth
- Build a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Develop strategies that can expand market presence and help enhance agency performance
- Mentor agency owners on their business planning, operations, and sales development
- Strengthen the Farmers brand through community engagement and relationship‑building
- Run your own district office and build your internal team
- Create and implement long‑term strategic growth plans
- Experience managing teams and coaching others to success
- A passion for developing entrepreneurs and supporting business owners
- 5+ years in sales, insurance, financial services, or related leadership roles (preferred)
- Proven success recruiting, developing, or leading sales teams
- Strong understanding of performance metrics and operational best practices
- Ability to manage your own operations and influence multiple businesses simultaneously
- Comfort with strategic decision‑making and business planning
- Commitment to building relationships that strengthen brand visibility and community impact
- Knowledge of contracts, compliance, and agency operations is a plus
- Ability to pass a background check
- Property & Casualty and Life & Health licenses (or willingness to obtain)
- Applicable Series 6, 63, and 26 licenses
- Access to startup capital (no startup fees charged by Farmers)
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Completion of the University of Farmers® District Manager Program
- A suitable district office location
- At least two licensed and appointed district staff members at appointment
