SVP, Corporate Controller

Connect Search is partnering with leading investment firm to identify an SVP, Corporate Controller for their executive team in Irving, TX. As the SVP, Corporate Controller, you will oversee Corporate Accounting, Operational Accounting, Investment Accounting, and ERP/Financial Information Systems—serving as the principal accounting authority across a complex, multi-entity platform. You’ll drive investor-grade reporting, strengthen controls and compliance, and lead ERP/FIS stabilization and long-term transformation while mentoring established leaders across the organization. This role is equal parts enterprise controllership, operational rigor, and systems modernization, with direct influence on how the business scales.

The ideal candidate will bring 20+ years of progressive finance and accounting leadership, CPA required (MBA strongly preferred), and experience serving as a principal accounting officer in a multi-entity environment. Deep technical accounting expertise, board/audit committee presence, and a proven ability to lead senior leaders (VP/Director level) are essential for success. ERP/FIS transformation experience—ideally Microsoft D365—and a background in private equity portfolio companies or complex platforms are strongly preferred.
