Director of Operations – Quick Service Restaurant (QSR)

Compensation: Up to $150,000 annually (based on experience)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Director of Operations to lead operational performance across a large, high-volume Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) brand. This role is responsible for driving consistency, profitability, and executional excellence across all locations, ensuring brand standards are met while delivering speed, quality, and exceptional guest experiences.

This is a senior leadership role ideal for a proven franchisor-side operator who understands scale, systems, and the realities of running fast-paced QSR environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day operations across a multi-market, multi-unit QSR footprint
  • Partner closely with franchisees, field leaders, and restaurant leadership to ensure consistent execution of brand standards
  • Drive performance through KPI management, including sales, labor, food cost, speed of service, and guest satisfaction
  • Coach and develop regional and market-level leaders to build a strong leadership bench
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, health, labor, and regulatory standards across all locations
  • Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic initiatives, operational planning, and continuous improvement
  • Support growth initiatives including new market entry, store openings, and operational integration
  • Champion training, systems, and process improvements that scale with the brand
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of multi-unit restaurant operations experience
    , preferably within Quick Service Restaurants (QSR)
  • Required: Experience working for a franchisor brand (not franchisee-only experience)
  • Demonstrated success leading large, geographically dispersed teams
  • Strong financial and operational acumen, including P&L oversight and performance forecasting
  • Data-driven decision maker with the ability to translate metrics into action
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence franchise partners and senior leadership
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with competing priorities
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, or related field preferred
