Integrator / President – Operating Companies
Our client is seeking an experienced President/Integrator. This role is designed for a senior operator who wants real authority, real accountability, and long-term alignment in a closely held, owner-led business environment—and who is motivated by building a stable, well-run portfolio, not just a paycheck.
There is less focus on optimizing short-term cash and more focus on building a durable leadership partnership that rewards judgment, stewardship, and successful succession over time.
PhilosophyThis is not a role for someone optimizing title or near-term compensation. It is a role for someone who:
- wants to build something durable,
- is comfortable owning outcomes,
- understands succession and transition,
- and values trust, authority, and long-term upside.
Base salary falls within a competitive Texas market range for senior operating leadership, calibrated to:
- scope across multiple businesses,
- depth of prior experience,
- and demonstrated ability to operate at a portfolio level.
The base is intended to provide stability and reflect the seriousness of the role, not to be the primary source of upside.
Annual Performance IncentiveMeaningful annual incentive compensation is tied to outcomes that matter, not activity.
Performance measures include:
- portfolio stability and predictability,
- successful transition of finance and sales leadership,
- leadership depth and succession progress,
- absence of operational surprises,
- and disciplined execution across businesses.
For the right candidate, there could be a structured long-term incentive that aligns the Integrator with the health and growth of the overall portfolio.
