As a Claims Manager, Liability, to lead a team of Team Leaders and oversee intermediate complexity coverage and liability investigations. This role combines leadership, operational excellence, and strategic decision-making to ensure accurate, timely claim handling and compliance with company and state standards.

• Lead, coach, and support a team of 4–6 Team Leaders and their direct reports.
• Drive employee engagement and foster a positive, high-performance culture.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and training for new team members.
• Provide ongoing feedback and support to develop leadership and technical skills.
• Monitor claim handling for accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with state regulations.
• Review and audit claims using a holistic approach.
• Resolve escalated coverage and liability issues that cannot be handled by Team Leaders.
• Provide reporting and insights to senior management.
• Lead or assist with special projects and process improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance claims operations and customer experience.

Education
:
Bachelor’s degree preferred

Licenses/Certifications
:
To perform the essential functions of this job an active Texas or Florida Adjuster License is required to comply with state and GAINSCO requirements. Upon hire, additional license(s) may be required. All licenses must be maintained in accordance with state requirements.

Experience
:

• Minimum 2–3 years as a Claims Supervisor or Team Leader with direct people management responsibilities in Auto Liability claims is required.
• Experience as a second-line leader or managing supervisors/team leaders is preferred.
• Must have direct experience managing Liability coverage issues within the Auto Claims department.
• Insurance background required; non-standard auto insurance experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of Image Right and Claims Manager systems.
