Document Controls Manager
Location:
Santa Teresa, New Mexico (project site) based in El Paso, TX office.
- Develop, implement, manage and maintain enterprise document management systems (Aconex, Project Wise, Procore, SharePoint, etc.) and hard‑copy documents to ensure compliance with all applicable standards, contractual agreements and regulations.
- Send all contractual deliverables to the client or other defined recipient.
- Plan and direct document and content management life cycles for a group or set of projects.
- Examine documents to verify completeness and accuracy of data and resolve discrepancies with document originators.
- Develop and maintain procedures and standards for document and change control, including document development, approval, production, distribution and amendment.
- Develop and deliver training on all applicable EDMS tools and processes to end users (vendors, clients, project teams, etc.).
- Update EDMS training as necessary based on changing processes, systems and/or guidelines.
- Manage staff, evaluate performance, mentor and plan career paths, approve PTO and training, ensure HR policies are followed and make recommendations regarding staffing decisions.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 8 years related experience with at least 2 of those years in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
- Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
- Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Experience and advanced skills with Procore (preferred).
- Strong organizational skills (preferred).
