Accounting Manager

A global, publicly traded, high tech manufacturer is growing their DFW presence and hiring a new Accounting Manager to support plant leadership in reporting and making accurate decisions.

• Oversee the preparation, review, and interpretation of monthly and quarterly financial statements while ensuring full GAAP compliance.
• Serve as the technical accounting expert by providing clear guidance on complex reporting matters and maintaining well‑defined accounting policies that distinguish legal requirements from internal management reporting.
• Strengthen internal controls—including SOX‑related activities—to ensure accurate transaction recording and asset protection.
• Build strong cross‑functional partnerships with Operations, FP&A, and leadership teams to support informed decision‑making and uphold accounting standards.
• Lead support for internal and external audits by ensuring all deliverables, documentation, and responses meet professional expectations.
• Provide key financial insight for budgeting, planning, and resource allocation to align with operational and compliance needs.

• 5+ years of progressive accounting or financial reporting experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (professional designation preferred)
• Deep knowledge of GAAP
• Experience working within a plant and/or manufacturing context
• Understanding of global operations and supply‑chain‑related financial impacts
• Strong communication, influencing, analytical, and problem‑solving skills
