Successful Multi-Unit Restaurant Group | DFW Metroplex
Compensation: $250,000 – $300,000 base + performance incentives
Location: Dallas–Fort Worth, TX (On-site / Regional Travel Required)
About the OpportunityA well-established, highly successful restaurant group based in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex is seeking an experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead and scale operations across a growing portfolio of restaurants.
This is a true executive leadership role for a proven restaurant operator with prior COO experience who thrives in high‑accountability environments, builds strong leadership teams, and drives operational excellence at scale.
The COO will partner closely with ownership and executive leadership to execute strategy, improve performance, and support sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities- Provide executive oversight of all restaurant operations
, ensuring consistency, profitability, and brand standards across the portfolio - Lead, mentor, and develop senior operations leaders (VPs, Directors, Area Leaders)
- Own operational KPIs including sales performance, labor optimization, food cost control, guest experience, and unit‑level profitability
- Drive operational strategy aligned with company growth plans, including new openings and expansion
- Establish scalable systems, processes, and accountability frameworks
- Partner with Finance, HR, Marketing, and Development to ensure cross‑functional alignment
- Serve as a key advisor to ownership on operational risks, opportunities, and long‑term planning
- Champion a strong culture focused on leadership development, operational discipline, and guest satisfaction
- Prior Chief Operating Officer (COO) experience within a restaurant or hospitality organization
- Extensive background leading multi‑unit restaurant operations
- Proven success managing senior leadership teams and large‑scale operations
- Strong financial acumen with deep understanding of P&L performance
- Experience supporting growth, scalability, and operational transformation
- Exceptional leadership presence, communication skills, and decision‑making ability
- Willingness to be hands‑on and highly visible across the organization
- Experience with high‑volume, multi‑brand, or rapidly growing restaurant groups
- Background working closely with founders or private ownership
- Track record of building scalable operating models
- Executive‑level influence with direct access to ownership
