This is a highly visible role reporting directly to the CFO of the parent company, with close interaction with the CEO. - Build, document, and improve accounting processes, SOPs, and internal controls.
- Oversee inventory accounting and ensure accuracy in reporting.
- Manage, mentor, and develop the accounting team, driving accountability and upskilling talent.
- Collaborate with leadership to support acquisitions, integration, and overall business growth.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or Master’s preferred (not required).
- 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership roles.
- Public accounting experience strongly preferred.
- Experience in small to mid-size companies ($30M–$100M revenue) required; inventory-related industry experience a plus.
- Exposure to private equity–backed environments preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to build processes and develop SOPs.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills; proven ability to motivate and mentor teams.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving, adaptability, and organizational skills.
