You will be leading, building, and developing our expanding Texas sales team, bringing our award‑winning brands—CAMO, STINGER, and PRO‑FIT—to our network of channel partners, installers, and end consumers.

Aligned with our brands’ unique purpose, your team will execute a strategy that drives brand awareness and adoption of our innovative products, supporting aggressive geographic, channel, and company growth plans.

Your assignment

You will lead the sales results and the team of Market Development Managers across Texas to grow the market to $40 m+. They will drive revenue, margin, and operating‑income growth for the CAMO, STINGER, and PRO‑FIT brands in Lumber Building Materials (LBM) yards, Roofing Wholesalers, and Specialty Tools and Fasteners Distributors Association (STAFDA) locations. They are growth‑mindful leaders who develop deep knowledge of their team, customers, competitors, and our products.

They are strategic leaders who cast a clear vision for their team and work side‑by‑side with them to create and execute strategies that achieve their goals.

  • Build and lead a team across Texas to achieve market revenue growth of $40 m+.
  • Be a role model for the team by driving sales growth through strong customer knowledge and relationships, in‑depth product and competitor knowledge, and selling skills.
  • Partner with the Vice President (VP) of Sales and the Regional Vice President (RVP) of the Southeast to create clear visions for the team and the strategies to achieve them.
  • Deliver on promises to the sales team and their customers.
  • Inspire senior leaders at dealers, distributors, and contractors to grow business with us through consultative, value‑driven selling.
  • Build strong partnerships with product development, marketing, inside sales, and other departments as needed to collaboratively meet customer needs and increase market share.
  • Cultivate the company’s culture and expectations across the team.
  • Build strong knowledge of the market, customers, and our products.
  • Demonstrate a passion for our brands—this is impossible to achieve without “getting” the endearing value of our brands.
  • In partnership with VP of Sales and RVP Southeast, build out a multi‑year sales budget and go‑to‑market strategy.
  • Lead monthly executive‑level P&L reviews for the market.
  • Ensure the team has the tools and support needed and hold them accountable to strong performance.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 10 years of sales experience in the building materials industry.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an effective leader of a sales team.
  • Proven success in building a team and growing a market.
  • Established relationships at the highest levels of key accounts in LBM and/or Roofing Wholesale Distributors.
  • Experience with full accountability of a market/P&L.
  • Proven success building and achieving market sales plans.
  • Be an outstanding person and teammate, elevating those around you.
  • Align with our purpose, eight character traits, and cornerstones.
  • Ability to travel 60‑70%.
