We are seeking a dynamic and growth-oriented Vice President to lead our North Texas Transportation division, focusing on the Dallas‑Fort Worth (DFW) TxDOT market. This pivotal role involves managing a talented team of 25 professionals across two departments—Bridge and Highway—each led by highly skilled department heads. The ideal candidate will drive business development, ensure project excellence, and foster an environment of mentorship and staff growth.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership & Management:
Oversee the Bridge and Highway departments, ensuring project excellence and profitability. - Business Development:
Cultivate and expand client relationships within the DFW TxDOT market, actively pursuing new project opportunities to elevate our firm into the top 25 TxDOT design firms. - Project Oversight:
Serve as Principal-In-Charge, ensuring projects meet quality standards, stay within scope, and are delivered on time. - Team Development:
Mentor and recruit staff, fostering a culture of growth, collaboration, and excellence. - Strategic Coordination:
Collaborate with central Texas leadership to ensure cohesive strategies across regions.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Texas.
- Minimum of 15 years of transportation engineering experience, with a strong emphasis on TxDOT projects.
- Proven track record in roadway design and successful project management within the TxDOT framework.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Micro Station.
- Demonstrated success in business development and a deep understanding of the North Texas transportation market.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
