Our family-owned and operated company is currently seeking an Estimator to join our team at our Dallas Location!
The Estimating Department is the lifeline of our growing business. This position is scheduled Monday
-Thursday 7am – 4:30pm and Friday 7am – 3:30pm with occasional overtime required.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform take-offs, identify relevant drawings and details, and review specifications.
- Identify door and hardware products that give us a competitive advantage while still meeting the requirements of the project.
- Efficiently communicate and work with customers, vendors, and architects to be sure we are providing the best solution to meet the project's needs.
- Accurately input door, frame, and hardware info into estimating software (Comsense).
- Provide a clear and precise proposal to the customer.
- Follow-up on all bids to ensure the customer is happy with the scope and price.
Preferred
- Experience using industry-specific estimating software (Comsense or Pro-tech).
- Familiar with Construction Industry
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Excellent mathematical aptitude & problem-solving skills.
- Ability to effectively perform in an advanced, fast-paced environment both individually as well as part of a team.
- Needs to be self-motivated, have a strong work ethic, positive and helpful demeanor, and excellent customer service skills.
- Must pass drug and alcohol screen and successfully complete random screens.
