LHH is partnering with a rapidly growing organization seeking a Corporate Paralegal to support the CFO and cross‑functional teams. This role centers on contract compliance, managing a contract repository system, coordinating commercial leases, supporting sales and use tax matters, and contributing to environmental stewardship initiatives. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, organized, and comfortable operating at the intersection of legal, tax, compliance, and environmental programs.

You will be the CFO's front door and coordinate with outside counsel.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain the company’s Contract Repository System, ensuring accuracy and accessibility
  • Oversee contract compliance, contract renewals, and customer/vendor agreements
  • Assist with lease administration, amendments, and related documentation
  • Support sales and use tax processes and coordinate requests with internal stakeholders
  • Participate in environmental stewardship initiatives and collaborate with the EHS team
  • Work with regulatory topics including EPA, DOT, Hazmat, and commercial transportation requirements
  • Support due diligence for mergers & acquisitions (M&A) as needed
  • Handle additional corporate governance and compliance tasks as needed
Qualifications
  • Corporate paralegal, contracts administrator, or compliance experience
  • Hands‑on experience with Contract Compliance
  • Ability to manage a Contract Repository System
  • Experience working with leases and related legal documents
  • Familiarity with EPA, DOT, Hazmat, or commercial transportation distribution regulations a plus
Required Skills
  • Experience supporting finance or C‑suite leadership
  • Background in M&A due diligence
  • Exposure to multi‑state regulatory environments
  • Paralegal certificate or relevant legal training

Pay range and compensation package

Compensation:
Up to $120,000
