- Represent clients in complex commercial and business disputes in state and federal courts, arbitration forums, and administrative proceedings.
- Handle all phases of litigation, including case strategy, pleadings, discovery, motions practice, trial preparation, and post-verdict work.
- Draft, review, and respond to complaints, petitions, answers, counterclaims, motions, and discovery requests in a wide range of business disputes, including breach of contract, partnership disputes, business torts, fraud, and unfair competition.
- Conduct fact investigation, legal research, and analysis to develop and support case theories and legal arguments.
- Take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, corporate representatives, and experts.
- Participate in and lead court appearances, including hearings, case management conferences, and trial proceedings.
- Negotiate and structure settlement agreements, including participation in mediation and other alternative dispute resolution (ADR) processes.
- Advise clients on litigation risk, strategy, and potential business impact, keeping them informed throughout the process.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA‑accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice law in Texas and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas.
- Demonstrated logical reasoning and analytical thinking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Self‑starter with the ability to work independently while valuing and contributing to team collaboration.
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and judgment.
$100,000 - $150,000 yearly plus bonus DOE
