We are a professional staffing firm, working with organizations across the country to place exceptional candidates. Currently, We have a Foreclosure Paralegal opportunity available with a financial services company in Dallas, Texas. Our client is a leading provider of technology-enabled default management and bankruptcy processing solutions, offering a superior work environment and advancement opportunities.

The Foreclosure Paralegal will be responsible for the specific duties listed below.

Your specific duties will include:

• Work with attorneys and support staff in preparing legal documents and/or processing transactions.
• Quality assurance review of all data entered against source documents to ensure accuracy in legal proceedings.
• Review and interpret all documents including recorded Deed of Trusts, Property Title, dockets, pleadings, etc.
• Prepare and mail Notices of Acceleration, Notices of Application to Foreclosure, Motions and Orders to Foreclosure, and file required documents in the proper courts.
• Interface with court personnel regarding file status, hearing scheduling and order entry.
• Communicate with opposing counsel and escape items to Attorneys as needed.
• Ensure the required notices and motions are prepared, received, audited, mailed and/or recorded in accordance with client, company, investor and state and government agency guidelines.
• Escalation of issues to internal and external parties for any issues related to legal processing.
• Respond to escalated inquiries from clients, debtors and debtors' attorneys, vendors and staff regarding internal and external processes.

Required qualifications for the position include :

• High school diploma or equivalent with 1+ years of foreclosure experience; bachelor's preferred.
• Experience working in systems such as Black Knight & MSP.
• Mortgage Servicing or legal experience preferred.
• Paralegal certification preferred but not required.

Pay Rate Range : $24.00 to $27.00 per hour

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience, and location. Employees have access to healthcare benefits, including medical, dental, and vision as well as a 401(k) plan.
