A nationally recognized law firm with a broad, multi-state footprint is opening a new office in Dallas, Texas, and is seeking a Senior Bankruptcy Attorney to support and lead this strategic expansion.

This senior-level role offers a unique opportunity for an experienced attorney to step into a position with significant autonomy, leadership visibility, and the full support of a firm with national resources.

Role Overview

The firm is seeking an assertive, skilled, and highly knowledgeable bankruptcy attorney with a minimum of 10 years of concentrated experience in bankruptcy law. The ideal candidate will possess strong strategic instincts, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to operate independently while collaborating seamlessly with colleagues across multiple offices.

The selected attorney will play a key role in launching the Dallas office, shaping its growth, and providing exceptional service to clients navigating complex financial matters.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and lead a full bankruptcy caseload
  • Provide strategic counsel in Chapter 7, 11, and/or 13 matters
  • Work closely with firm leadership to expand the Dallas office and increase market presence
  • Mentor junior attorneys as the team grows
  • Maintain superior client service, communication, and case management
  • Collaborate with attorneys and staff across the firms national network
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of bankruptcy experience (consumer, business, or both)
  • Strong courtroom skills, negotiation abilities, and motion practice experience
  • Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
  • Ability to work independently and contribute to office development

  • Active Texas Bar membership (or eligibility to waive in)
