Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney
$170k – $230k
OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and motivated mid-level Commercial Litigation Associate to join a growing legal team in Dallas. This position involves supporting a broad range of complex commercial litigation matters in state and federal courts. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of complex commercial litigation experience, and is interested in joining a group handling high-stakes matters.
Responsibilities- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and responses
- Prepare for and participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials
- Support litigation matters in state and federal courts.
- Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys to develop litigation strategy
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and court personnel
- Assist with settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution proceedings
- 3+ years of relevant experience
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Admitted to the Texas bar (or eligible for admission)
- Strong legal writing and analytical skills
- Experience with commercial litigation, business disputes, or complex civil litigation preferred
- Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines simultaneously
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Base salary is in the region of $170,000 - $230,000 depending on experience.
