- Represent clients involved in various transportation related incidents, including auto accidents, tractor/trailer collisions, fatalities, and motor vehicle accidents (MVA)
- Provide comprehensive legal counsel and defense strategies to individuals, businesses, and insurance companies operating within the transportation/trucking industry
- Conduct thorough investigations into accidents, analyze evidence, assess liability, and develop defense strategies tailored to each case's unique circumstances
- Represent clients in negotiations, mediation, and court proceedings
- Conduct legal research and provide legal analysis on various issues related to transportation and personal injury law
- Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery requests
- Prepare for and attend depositions, hearings, and trials
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
- Participate in case strategy discussions and negotiations
- Manage case files and maintain accurate and organized records
- Will work on both high-exposure personal injury matters with a small team of lawyers as well as lower-exposure matters as the primary attorney managing the case
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the State Bar of Texas
- The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in litigation/insurance defense/personal injury
