Job Description
The Ledger Law Firm (Texas Division) is hiring a seasoned personal injury attorney (minimum 3 years plaintiff PI experience) to handle matters from intake through resolution—covering both pre-litigation and litigation
. This is an in-person role based in Dallas
, designed for a lawyer who wants strong casework, serious professionalism, and a art-quality work environment built to support long-term excellence.

You’ll manage a Texas PI docket and drive files forward with consistent client communication and deadline discipline:
Pre-Litigation- Evaluate liability, damages, and medical causation; set early strategy
- Build settlement packages (records review, wage loss, future care, and evidence development)
- Draft persuasive demands and negotiate with insurance carriers
- Maintain strong client communication and expectations management
- Draft pleadings, discovery, and motions; manage meet-and-confer practice
- Take and defend depositions; coordinate experts and case development
- Prepare mediation submissions and position cases for resolution
- Support trial preparation as needed (depending on experience and case needs)
- Active Texas Bar license (in good standing)
- 3+ years of personal injury experience (plaintiff-side strongly preferred; exceptional candidates with relevant litigation backgrounds considered)
- Strong writing, analysis, and professional judgment
- Proven ability to manage deadlines, client relationships, and negotiation/litigation workflow
- Comfortable handling both pre-lit and litigation with consistent follow-through
- Strong valuation instincts and settlement negotiation discipline
- Confident in depositions, mediations, and motion practice
- Organized, responsive, and team-oriented in an in-person environment
- Client-centered communicator with calm professionalism
- Compensation is commensurate with experience and skill
