Job Description & How to Apply Below

RMO LLP is an industry-recognized leading probate litigation law firm focused on guiding clients through the complexities of contested probate and civil court proceedings throughout California and Texas. Our people-first foundation recognizes that while the work we do is important, the people, families, and communities who rely on us are what truly drive our efforts. We encourage and support personal and professional growth, and we regularly celebrate individual and team achievements.

If this speaks to you, and you are an attorney with experience in probate litigation, we should talk about whether we are a mutual fit for our Dallas office.

Who We Are Looking For?
  • You have cut your teeth in probate litigation and know the Texas Estates Code, Texas Trust Code, and the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure.
  • You have at least one year of experience, specifically in trust and estate disputes.
  • Not only do you have the writing chops and horsepower of a great attorney, but you are also strategic in your litigation style, love getting to the bottom of things, a natural learner who grows by diligently doing, entrepreneurial in your career, a self-starter who follows up naturally, and are a team player who knows and appreciates the value of being stronger together.
  • You can consistently deliver 1800 quality billable hours annually.
What’s In It For You?
  • A Business Development Team Behind You: Our team works diligently to create valuable business and professional development opportunities that not only enhance our attorneys’ practice but also cement their reputation as leading litigators in high-stakes trust and estate disputes. We further solidify our team’s reputation for thought leadership by securing speaking engagements, publication authorship, and media opportunities, awards, and acknowledgements, raising their profiles in our communities through numerous recognitions, and building strategic partnerships that help bring our communities closer together.
  • Competitive

    Pay and Benefits:

We work hard to foster inclusivity and encourage everyone to bring their best, authentic selves to the office every day. In addition to competitive salaries and bonuses, we offer a variety of programs, reasonably flexible work hours, and family-friendly benefits to all of our employees.
  • A Sustainable and Fulfilling Career: Every team member plays an integral role in ensuring our clients’ successes, and we value people whose diligent contributions make a difference and allow us all to have meaningful, challenging, and satisfying careers that make a difference in the lives of our team, clients, and communities.
  • Opportunity for Career Advancement: We believe in and support our team members’ desire to grow, improve, and advance, and when that growth involves new learning opportunities that facilitate new responsibilities, we champion, mentor and support their learning, growth, achievement, and advancement.
  • A Supportive, Collaborative Team Environment: Routinely, but at least monthly, we recognize and celebrate team member accomplishments at every level of the firm. We also welcome and reward team member contributions to improving the RMOInnovates program. Regular individual and firm-wide check-ins and best practice reviews help keep us all stronger together and aware of where we stand and where we can grow.
  • Work/Life Balance: Firm leadership learned from their experience in “big law” that a working environment should allow team members to maintain a healthy work-life balance. Legal work is hard but rewarding, and while like any business, we have production goals and sometimes have to work harder than we might plan for, we endeavor to “work to live” not “live to work.”
