About the job Staff Counsel - Commercial Litigation (Insurance)Our client, a prestigious Am Law 100 firm, is seeking a Staff Counsel to join their Dallas, Texas office! This position offers a vibrant and impactful career within a globally recognized law firm, ideal for professionals eager to advance their skills in litigation and case strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of written discovery, including drafting and responding to interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admissions.
- Prepare legal motions, briefs, and other pleadings in compliance with court rules and deadlines.
- Conduct depositions, prepare deposition summaries, and analyze testimony for case strategy.
- Review legal documents and conduct research to support case development and strategy.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Must be a member in good standing with the Texas State Bar (U.S. JD required).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently with appropriate supervision and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Flexible hybrid schedule;
Only required to be in office 1 day a week. - Minimum 20 days of PTO and 11 paid holidays.
