An AmLaw-recognized law firm is seeking a lateral associate to join its Labor & Employment practice in Dallas.
This role is well-suited for an associate with experience advising employers on a broad range of labor and employment matters who is interested in sophisticated counseling and high-stakes employment litigation within a nationally recognized practice.
The RoleThe associate will work closely with partners and senior attorneys on employment litigation, workplace counseling, and compliance matters, including wage and hour issues, discrimination and retaliation claims, and employment policies and investigations. The practice offers meaningful responsibility, direct client interaction, and exposure to complex, employer-side matters.
Ideal Background- Prior experience in labor and employment counseling and/or litigation
- Experience representing employers in federal and state court matters
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Comfortable managing matters with increasing autonomy
- Admitted in Texas or eligible to waive in
- Highly regarded Labor & Employment practice with national reach
- Sophisticated employer-side matters and complex legal issues
- Lean, collaborative team with direct partner access
- Hybrid flexibility in the Dallas office
- Compensation commensurate with experience and market
