Construction Litigation Attorney

A well-established law firm in Dallas is seeking a Construction Litigation Attorney to join its growing practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who enjoys handling complex construction disputes and working closely with contractors, developers, owners, and design professionals.

• Handle construction litigation matters from inception through resolution, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation
• Represent owners, general contractors, subcontractors, developers, and design professionals in state and federal court
• Draft and argue dispositive motions and manage expert discovery
• Advise clients on construction defect claims, contract disputes, delay claims, lien issues, and risk management
• Collaborate with partners and clients to develop litigation strategy

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Licensed and in good standing with the Texas Bar
• 3+ years of construction litigation experience (defense or plaintiff)
• Strong writing, research, and analytical skills
• Experience with construction contracts, defects, delays, and related disputes preferred
• Ability to manage cases independently while working as part of a team

• The annual salary for this position is between $150,000-$250,000 Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
