Position Summary
The ideal candidate will have a strong sales mentality, a desire to succeed, and good organizational and interpersonal skills with a strong customer focus. This is an in‑office position.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist customers with various types of insurance needs, including new policies, edits, payments, renewals, and reinstatements.
• Inspect vehicles, examining condition, age, and other characteristics to determine insurance risk.
• Seek out new clients, generate prospect lists, and develop clientele through networking and marketing. You and your office manager will develop strategies to attract new customers.
• Perform administrative tasks, handle policy renewals, and contact underwriting to complete policies.
• Assist with daily housekeeping routines.

Position Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Customer Service/Insurance Sales Experience preferred but not required.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred but not required.
• Valid and current Limited Lines or Property & Casualty License in Texas (highly preferred but not required).
• Reliable transportation for daily marketing.
• Basic computer knowledge and strong written, verbal, and people skills.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision and quickly learn proprietary software.
• Complete continuing education courses (paid by A‑MAX) as required to maintain active license status with TDI.
