Overview

Inside Broker for Wholesale Insurance role at Novatae Risk Group, Dallas branch. This is an office position in Dallas.

• Oversee a portfolio of clients through relationship building and client account development.
• Handle service requests, identify potential risk issues, quote additional coverages and policies, and track renewals.

• Property & Casualty license is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of previous P&C wholesale insurance experience.
• Proficient in basic computer skills, such as Microsoft Office and agency management software.
• Knowledge of commercial lines insurance coverage, products, markets, rating, and underwriting procedures is essential.
• Skilled in developing excellent interpersonal and client relations; producing effective, accurate verbal and written communication, and active listening with strong attention to detail to ensure document accuracy.
• Ability to work independently, applying knowledge and experience to achieve outstanding results.
• Ability to follow processes and procedures and help develop new processes and procedures to improve efficiency.
• Team player with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Ability to manage client service needs including endorsements, proofs of insurance, cancellation requests, inspection questions, client/carrier correspondence, coverage analysis, and claim reporting.
• Interact with clients to discuss needs, respond to inquiries, solicit sales, and solve client problems.
• Process renewals and remarkets for renewal marketing following agency procedures.
• Provide quotes to existing clients for additional lines of business as needed.
• Process all account transactions timely and in accordance with agency procedures.
• Follow agency credit and collection procedures in invoicing and pursuing prompt payments.
• Manage cancellation processes according to agency standards, addressing both carrier and client requests as received.
