Job Description

Infosys is seeking a Lead SAP EWM Consultant
. As a Lead SAP EWM Consultant, you will be a key player in engaging with business and functional teams to provide best‑fit technical solutions while conforming to client’s and Infosys development standards. You will also support knowledge transfer with the objective of providing value‑adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 7 years of experience with Information Technology.
  • In order to comply with legal requirements, this role is limited to “U.S. persons” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15. U.S. persons include U.S. citizens, U.S. Lawful Permanent Residents, and certain refugees and asylees.
  • Location for this position is Dallas, TX. This position may require travel to project/client location.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead SAP MM/IM/WM and EWM solution design and implementation for ECC and S/4

    HANA environments.
  • Conduct requirement gathering workshops and translate business needs into functional specifications.
  • Configure SAP MM (procurement, purchasing, vendor management), IM (stock management), and WM/EWM (warehouse operations, RF integration).
  • Integrate EWM with core SAP modules (SD, PP, QM) and external systems.
  • Manage data migration, testing (unit, integration, UAT), and cutover activities.
  • Provide guidance on best practices for S/4

    HANA migration and EWM deployment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across MM/WM/EWM processes.
  • Mentor junior consultants and ensure adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 7+ years of SAP experience with strong expertise in MM, IM, WM.
  • Hands‑on experience in SAP ECC and S/4

    HANA implementations.
  • Proven experience in Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) configuration and integration.
  • Knowledge of SAP Activate methodology and migration strategies.
  • Strong understanding of procurement, inventory, and warehouse processes.
  • Experience with interfaces (IDoc, RFC, Web Services) and integration with third‑party systems.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • SAP certification in MM or EWM.
  • Experience in RF Framework, Labor Management, and Slotting/Rearrangement in EWM.
  • Exposure to Fiori apps and SAP Cloud Integration.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Delivery & Project KPIs
  • On‑Time Delivery Rate: % of project milestones delivered on schedule.

    Number of defects per module during UAT and post‑go‑live.
  • Change Request Turnaround:
    Average time to implement approved changes.
Functional & Technical KPIs
  • Configuration Accuracy: % of configurations meeting business requirements without rework.
  • Integration Success Rate: % of successful data exchanges between ECC, S/4

    HANA, and EWM.
  • System Downtime:
    Hours of unplanned downtime due to configuration or integration issues.
Business Impact KPIs
  • Process Automation Coverage: % of manual processes automated through SAP MM/WM/EWM.
  • Inventory Accuracy:
    Improvement in stock accuracy post‑implementation.
  • Warehouse Efficiency:
    Reduction in order processing time or picking errors after EWM go‑live.
Stakeholder & Team KPIs
  • User Adoption Rate: % of end‑users actively using new SAP functionalities.
  • Training Effectiveness:
    Post‑training assessment scores or feedback ratings.
  • Team Mentorship:
    Number of junior consultants mentored and certified.
Financial KPIs
  • Budget Adherence: % of project delivered within approved budget.
  • Cost Savings:
    Reduction in operational costs due to optimized MM/WM/EWM processes.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
