Forward Deployed Engineering Lead

Requirements

• Strong technical literacy and problem-solving capabilities without specialization in any single language or framework.
• Experience addressing real business challenges using technology rather than merely following set requirements.
• Proficiency in navigating systems, data flows, APIs, and platforms, including modern cloud and measurement environments.
• Over 8 years of experience in client-facing or consultative technical positions such as forward deployed engineering, solutions architecture, or similar roles.
• Ability to assess tradeoffs, feasibility, and risks in ambiguous situations.
• A proactive approach to project execution, transitioning quickly from problem identification to prototype and production.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools and the discretion to apply them effectively while adhering to best practices.
• Exceptional communication skills, particularly in articulating complex technical matters to non-technical audiences.
• Proven ability to influence outcomes without direct authority.
• A curious and adaptable mindset, thriving in ambiguous situations where value isn't immediately apparent.
• Recognition that reuse, scalability, and contributions to the platform are earned through impact.

• Collaborate closely with priority clients and PMG leadership to grasp significant business challenges and opportunities.
• Convert vague business issues into clear technical solutions and actionable implementations.
• Design and implement tailored technical solutions across data management, measurement, workflows, mobile applications, and platform integrations.
• Engage hands‑on in the design and development of solutions, employing modern tools and AI‑assisted code to ensure timely delivery without quality compromise.
• Counsel clients and internal teams on solution feasibility, tradeoffs, and technical direction.
• Recognize patterns, insights, and methodologies that can contribute to reusable solutions or future platform capabilities.
• Guide the evolution of products and platforms by integrating validated insights into PMGs wider technology framework.
• Contribute during critical situations like strategic pitches and quarterly business reviews, where technical clarity can significantly influence outcomes.
• Leverage AI, automation, and technology to enhance work quality, streamline operations, and facilitate quicker, informed decision‑making.
