The Role
The SEO Manager owns Topgolf’s organic search strategy and performance, driving incremental traffic, venue discovery, and bookings across Topgolf’s digital properties.
This role sits at the intersection of Media, Product, Analytics, and Brand/Content teams to develop and execute a prioritized SEO roadmap spanning technical SEO, local search, and content optimization. You’ll translate business goals into scalable organic search initiatives, ensure SEO best practices are embedded across digital experiences, and help strengthen organic discovery while complementing paid media efforts over time.
The ideal candidate blends strategic thinking with hands‑on execution, thrives in cross‑functional environments, and uses data‑driven insights to continuously improve organic performance.
Key Responsibilities Organic Search Strategy & Roadmap- Own and manage the organic search roadmap aligned with Media Team growth priorities.
- Translate business objectives into scalable SEO initiatives across technical SEO, local search, and content optimization.
- Define success metrics and track performance against organic traffic, engagement, and conversion goals.
- Lead technical SEO initiatives to improve crawlability, indexation, site architecture, mobile usability, page speed, and structured data implementation.
- Partner with Product and Engineering teams to scope, prioritize, and implement SEO improvements.
- Ensure SEO requirements are incorporated into new features, platform updates, and site releases.
- Drive local SEO programs that improve venue visibility and high‑intent traffic.
- Optimize Google Business Profiles, maintain NAP consistency, and support scalable local landing page strategies.
- Partner with internal teams and agency partners to strengthen local search presence and venue discovery.
- Guide keyword research and search intent strategy to expand non‑brand organic visibility.
- Partner with Brand and Content teams to optimize on‑page SEO best practices and shape content opportunities across marketing pages, venue pages, informational content, and seasonal campaigns.
- Deliver executive‑ready reporting on organic search performance, including rankings, traffic quality, engagement, and conversion outcomes.
- Identify performance drivers, trends, and opportunities to improve visibility and growth.
- Communicate insights, priorities, and trade‑offs clearly to stakeholders across Media, Analytics, and leadership teams.
