Experience: 8–12 years of SAP QM experience, with at least 1–2 full-cycle S/4
HANA implementations in a Lead capacity.
Technical Depth: Expert-level knowledge of QM configuration, including Quality Certificates, Stability Studies, and Batch Management.
Integration Expertise: Proven ability to manage complex "hand-offs" between QM and the broader Supply Chain (MM/PP/SD).
Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of quality standards (e.g., ISO, GxP) and regulatory compliance. (Experience in [Insert Industry, e.g., Life Sciences/Manufacturing] is highly preferred).
Soft Skills: Exceptional facilitation, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills. Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical business leaders.
ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities
Solution Design & Configuration: Lead the design and implementation of SAP S/4
HANA QM best practices. Perform hands‑on configuration of QM functionalities, including inspection planning, quality notifications, results recording, and certificate management.
Business Partnership: Facilitate workshops with global stakeholders to analyze complex quality requirements. Conduct fit‑gap analyses to align business processes with S/4
HANA standard capabilities.
Cross‑Module Integration: Architect and manage the seamless integration of the QM module with adjacent functional areas, specifically PP (Production Planning), MM (Materials Management), SD (Sales & Distribution), and FICO
.
Data Leadership: Direct the data migration strategy for QM master data (Inspection Plans, Material Masters, Catalogs) and transaction data, ensuring accuracy and integrity during the move to S/4
HANA.
Testing & Quality Assurance: Define testing strategies and lead System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Ensure all enhancements are validated against regulatory standards and internal compliance.
Documentation & Training: Create and maintain high‑quality project artifacts, including Business Blueprint documents, Functional Specifications, Configuration Guides, and SOPs. Deliver comprehensive training programs to empower end‑users.
Continuous Improvement: Monitor system performance and conduct regular maintenance and updates to ensure the QM landscape remains robust, compliant, and optimized for evolving business needs.
