IT Project Manager, IT Consultant
Five & Done is a design and technology studio looking to add a Senior Producer to our team in Dallas, TX.
When our clients want a team that understands their ecosystem, prioritizes user experience, and knows what it takes to successfully design, build, and launch complex digital products; they call us. This is a perfect role for someone who thrives at that intersection of deep client partnership and complex project delivery; someone who doesn't just manage timelines, but takes genuine ownership of outcomes.
You’ll lead large-scale complex, consumer-facing web application projects for Toyota Motors of North America. You'll build deep relationships with those clients; becoming a genuine subject matter expert on their industries, their ecosystems, and what makes them tick. You'll take a consultative approach with stakeholders, provide Agile/Scrum guidance to keep projects on track, and partner closely with design, development, UX, and QA teams to bring ambitious work to life.
There is always a lot going on, so this person should thrive in a fluid and entrepreneurial environment.
We work with great clients who know us for being creative, principled, diligent, intellectual, passionate, precise, and a hell of a lot of fun. We believe in work‑life balance...but also getting the work done and done right. Our office is casual; our team is a family; our benefits are great and our love of semicolons can border on obsessive.
ResponsibilitiesThe Senior Producer owns the full lifecycle of large, complex projects — from strategy and planning through execution and delivery. Day to day, that looks like:
- Developing comprehensive proposals, project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Translating client requests into well‑defined requirements for UX, design, development, and QA teams.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships, becoming a trusted subject matter expert on their business and ecosystem.
- Managing multiple projects simultaneously with a high degree of autonomy—maintaining in‑depth involvement to catch risks and issues early.
- Leading and participating in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including stand‑ups, backlog refinement, sprint planning, demos, retrospectives, and release planning.
- Overseeing resource allocation and managing project financials, including profitability and forecasting.
- Supporting QA and UAT efforts to ensure requirements and objectives are met.
- Maintaining process and project documentation in Jira, Confluence, and/or Azure Dev Ops.
- Acting as the primary escalation point for both clients and the internal team—managing expectations, negotiating scope changes, and resolving issues quickly.
- Contributing to business development efforts by participating in pitch meetings and identifying opportunities to better serve and grow client relationships.
- Mentoring and coaching junior and mid‑level producers, taking their growth seriously.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of our project management standards and practices.
- You have 8+ years of experience in digital project management in a creative services, marketing, or design agency.
- You take ownership—not just of your deliverables, but of outcomes. You don't wait to be told something is off; you already know.
- You're an excellent critical thinker who asks the right questions, anticipates issues, and moves quickly to solutions.
- You operate with a high degree of autonomy and initiative—comfortable making decisions and moving forward without needing constant direction.
- You're self‑aware, driven to grow, and genuinely open to feedback—you know what you're great at and what you're still working on.
- You have a strong understanding of web development, UX/UI design, and quality assurance processes.
- You have strong knowledge of Agile methodology and development practices including Scrum and Kanban (Scrum Master or Scrum Product Owner certification is a bonus).
- You've worked with CMS or e‑commerce platforms of varying complexity—Word Press, Drupal, AEM, Sitecore, Magento, Sharepoint, and others.
- You're a natural communicator—equally effective writing a tight requirements doc, presenting to a client exec, or rallying your team.
- You sweat the details. Quality isn't an afterthought—it's built into how you work.
- You bring positive energy and people genuinely enjoy working with you.
- You deliver under pressure and in fast‑paced environments without losing your cool.
- This is a full‑time position based in our Dallas, Texas office.
- Please don't drop by our office, call, or email us directly.
- No recruiters please.
- Applicants requiring visa sponsorship will not be considered.
- Relocation within the United States will be considered.
