Azure Solution Architect

Akkodis is seeking an Azure Solution Architect for a contract with a client in Dallas, TX. You will lead enterprise‑grade designs on Microsoft Azure, drive CI/CD and IaC best practices, and integrate AI/ML services (Azure AI / Azure OpenAI) to deliver secure, scalable, high‑performance solutions.

Rate Range: $53/hour to $60/hour; the rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

• Lead end‑to‑end architecture and design of enterprise solutions on Microsoft Azure (App Service, AKS, Functions, SQL, Storage), ensuring security, scalability, performance, and cost efficiency.
• Translate complex business needs into clear architectural blueprints, reference architectures, and technical roadmaps aligned with long‑term strategy.
• Drive Dev Ops excellence by building CI/CD pipelines (Azure Dev Ops / Git Hub Actions), implementing Infrastructure‑as‑Code (Terraform / Bicep), and setting up monitoring/alerting.
• Design and integrate AI/ML services (Azure AI, Azure OpenAI) into applications to unlock business value and accelerate innovation.
• Serve as the escalation point for complex technical challenges, performing root‑cause analysis and architecting robust, sustainable solutions.
• Mentor engineering teams and communicate architectural decisions, risks, and trade‑offs to technical and non‑technical stakeholders; partner with apparel / sports stakeholders to enhance supply chain visibility, inventory management, and digital engagement.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field (Master’s or Azure Architect certification preferred).
• 10+ years in software/IT with 4+ years in solution architecture on Microsoft Azure.
• Deep, hands‑on expertise across Azure IaaS/PaaS (App Service, AKS, Functions, SQL, Storage, networking/security) with proven CI/CD (Azure Dev Ops / Git Hub Actions) and IaC (Terraform / Bicep) delivery.
• Demonstrated experience integrating AI/ML services (Azure AI / Azure OpenAI) and partnering with apparel, labels, and sports stakeholders to improve supply chain visibility, inventory management, and digital customer engagement.

Pay Details: $53.00 to $60.00 per hour.
