Data Scientist

This is a full-time Data Scientist role, based on-site at Fifth Peak Ventures' office in Dallas, TX. The Data Scientist will analyze complex datasets to extract insights, develop predictive models, and drive data-driven strategies to support investment decisions. Responsibilities include collecting, processing, and analyzing structured and unstructured data, creating visual reports and dashboards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize business outcomes.

Additionally, the role requires staying updated on developments in data science methodologies and tools to enhance efficiencies.

• Data analysis and statistical skills, including proficiency in statistical modeling, data visualization, and interpreting large datasets.
• Experience with programming and data manipulation tools such as Python, R, SQL, and similar technologies.
• Familiarity with machine learning algorithms, predictive modeling, and AI concepts.
• Knowledge of database management, data cleaning processes, and ETL workflows.
• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills, with the ability to translate data insights into actionable business strategies.
• Effective communication and team collaboration skills.
• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or relevant field is highly preferred.
• Experience in the real estate and energy sectors is a plus but not required.
