BARBRI, the trusted global leader in legal education is seeking a dynamic and visionary VP of Strategic Market Development to spearhead growth and innovation of our Professional Education. This pivotal role will be instrumental in driving expansion by forging deep partnerships with law firm and corporate learning and development leaders, positioning BARBRI as the premier partner of legal skills training, CLE programs and cutting-edge legal educational solutions.

- Partner with marketing and sales leadership to design and execute GTM strategies that drive demand for BARBRI Professional Education offerings
- Be part of the GTM launch team for new products
- Support marketing with voice-of-customer insights to develop targeted demand generation campaigns, such as webinars, whitepapers, or thought leadership content tailored to key market segments.
- Influence and support pipeline generation and progression by collaborating with sales and client success teams to identify high-potential prospects and providing strategic insights on client needs, segmentation, and readiness to adopt BARBRI solutions.
- Organise and manage pilot programs with prospective clients to test new innovative offerings, ensuring alignment with market needs.
- Partner closely with Product and Content leadership to identify and prioritize market-driven opportunities for new educational products, formats and delivery methods.
- Collect and synthesise customer feedback from L&D leaders, knowledge managers, and other stakeholders to inform product roadmap and content strategy.
- Support corporate development opportunities, such as strategic partnerships with legal tech providers, professional associations, or institutions to enhance BARBRI’s offerings and market reach.
- Act as a bridge between market insights and internal teams, ensuring product and content strategies align with client priorities and emerging industry trends.
- Act as a thought leader and market evangelist, representing BARBRI at industry conferences, panels, and strategic client engagements.
- 10+ years of experience in legal education, professional development, or law firm innovation.
- Deep familiarity with the legal ecosystem and established relationships within the Professional Development Consortium or similar organisations.
- Proven track record of strategic leadership, client engagement, and cross-functional collaboration ideally with demonstrated revenue impact.
- Strong understanding of legal skills training, CLE, and emerging learning modalities (e.g., microlearning, AI-enabled platforms , adaptive learning).
- Exceptional communication and executive presence.
