The ideal candidate will work closely with various departments to define and implement enterprise data models that support the organization’s reporting and analytics needs. This role requires a proactive individual with strong data modeling skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of business processes. Collaborating with key business representatives, data owners, end users, application designers, and data architects, the candidate will ensure that both current and new data models are optimized to align with business objectives.

A strong understanding of various source systems and their role in supporting key business processes is essential. Additionally, the candidate will develop new data models and refine existing ones to enhance data engineering activities while conducting business process analysis and requirements gathering to establish formal data structures. Proficiency in Databricks, Power BI Semantic Models, DAX, SQL, and Python are required.

Experience or the ability to develop machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) models is highly preferred.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience ensuring data quality using methods and tools to maintain completeness, validity, consistency, timeliness, and accuracy.
• 4+ years of experience applying systematic approaches to organizing, structure, and preparing data models for analysis.
• Demonstrated experience using artificial intelligence (AI) and AI-enabled platforms for data modernization work.
• AI LLM use cases including CoPilot, ChatGPT and Gemini.
• Experience delivering work with Agile/Scrum practices & software release cycle
• Proficient in Azure, Databricks, SQL, Python, Power BI and DAX
• Ability to write complex DAX code and SQL queries for data manipulation.
• Good knowledge with CI/CD, deployment process
• 3+ years of experience working with clients and client deliverables on tight deadlines
• Prior experience working on projects of similar size and scope

• Partner with the Data Ingestion team to design and build the Gold layer within the Medallion Architecture.
• Establish and implement robust data security, data masking standards, and governance processes across all data stores and BI reporting layers.
• Develop and maintain enterprise‑grade data models that integrate multiple data sources to support Power BI reporting and business analytics.
• Work with business leaders to identify, prioritize, and refine data analysis needs and platform enhancement opportunities.
• Collaborate with analytics teams and stakeholders to determine when composite or integrated data models are required to meet business objectives.
• Clearly communicate data model structures and logic to visualization and analytics teams.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data or business issues, including identifying root causes and preventing recurrence; elevate when appropriate.
• Contribute to the advancement of ML and AI model development processes, supporting ongoing innovation and scalability.
• Lead technical code reviews for DAX and SQL and facilitate design and elaboration discussions across teams.
• Drive and implement end‑to‑end process improvements that enhance data modeling quality, governance, and delivery efficiency.
