IDR is seeking a Solution Architect to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Dallas, TX. This role focuses on the design, deployment, and support of warehouse and distribution technology solutions within a dynamic supply chain environment. The company specializes in logistics and distribution services, leveraging innovative IT solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
Position Overview for the Solution Architect:
- Responsible for managing Warehouse and Distribution applications and supporting end-to-end technology solutions for distribution centers.
- Partners closely with business stakeholders to deliver scalable, stable solutions through design, build, testing, deployment, and production support phases.
- Coordinates with vendors and managed service providers, both on-site and offshore, to ensure timely and effective solution delivery.
- Focuses on supporting SAP modules including MM, IM, WM, SD, and LE-Shipping, with a deep understanding of warehouse and shipping execution.
- Ensures solutions align with operational needs, driving efficiency in warehouse and distribution activities.
Requirements for the Solution Architect:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4
HANA - Proven experience designing, configuring, and supporting SAP modules such as MM, IM, WM, SD, LE-Shipping.
- Strong knowledge of procurement, inbound execution, inventory management, warehouse bin management, order-to-delivery processes, and delivery processing.
- Ability to lead end-to-end solution delivery and work effectively with cross-functional teams, vendors, and managed service providers.
