SAP S/4

HANA Solution Architect provides a unique combination of functional and technical product expertise and delivery implementation experience in retail systems to design and deliver SAP software solutions to meet client needs. The Architect is also responsible for creating and delivering a cohesive solution across multiple modules of SAP and connect non-SAP applications. The candidate must have deep expertise in at least one SAP IS Retail area and working knowledge in multiple SAP areas.

The candidate should be able to paint the big picture and recommend alternatives to resolve conflicts between business requirements and out of the box best practices.

• Responsible for architecting, designing and building innovative retail solutions around SAP S/4
  
  HANA
• Partner with key stakeholders to transform business processes to improve key performance indicators (KPI) in the retail industry
• Lead and support S/4
  
  HANA pursuits and help customer to define their digital roadmap
• Work with teams located across multiple geography
• Lead business requirements discussions with customer to Implement S/4
  
  HANA solution
• Provide strong technical understanding of the product with the ability to discuss and demonstrate the full platform and how it may be configured to meet a customer’s business needs
• Perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and provide appropriate Retail system solutions
• Identify, interpret, validate and document customer requirements including the facilitation of workshops to collect business requirements
• Understand the SAP roadmap for S/4
  
  HANA and become a trusted advisor for clients in driving their S/4
  
  HANA adoption
• Review project deliverables (e.g. benefits realization strategy, to-be functional requirements, enterprise structure, business process master list (BPML), business process design document to ensure they meet project objectives)
• Build and maintain relationships with key executives, business personnel, SME and a network of professional organizations or affiliations
• Estimate total effort for all the application teams
• Contribute to knowledge base of the SAP Practice
• Act as liaison with client for troubleshooting: investigate, analyze, and solve software problems

• Over 18+ years of overall SAP implementation and support experience
• At least 10+ years of Retail experience with 4+ years in S/4
  
  HANA and at least one S/4
  
  HANA project as Retail Solution Architect or Integration Manager
• Should be able to articulate and demonstrate S/4 functionalities including Fiori
• Knowledge of S/4
  
  HANA Best Practices and Enterprise Architecture
• Conversant with Agile, Activate methodologies
• Deep understanding of integration with other systems like Hybris Commerce, Sales, Service, Marketing, Ariba, Hybris, Fieldglass, HANA Studio, Analytics is desired
• Must know processes and configurations in the at-least one area and working knowledge in other areas e.g. Procurement, Logistics, Inventory Management, Warehouse Management and its integration with each other
• Thorough understanding of the multiple SAP modules and the ability to research & apply business best practices
• Experience designing and improving business process and controls with deep business process re-engineering experience
• Demonstrated ability to communicate project goals and objectives, project status and deliverables with senior executives
• Strong verbal and written communication skills. Self-motivating and be able to plan your own work
• Proactive and self‑motivated work ethics
• Experience with SAP Retail (in one of the following areas:
  Planning, Procurement, Retail Financial, Merchandising: Rebates, Pricing and Promotions or Supply Chain)
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple deliverables and projects concurrently.
• Ability to provide recommendations with regards to future business and solution opportunities
