Senior AWS Cloud Migration Architect

CTG is seeking a Senior AWS Cloud Migration Architect for our client in Dallas, TX – 12-month contract.

Lead enterprise application migrations to AWS Outposts, design cloud architectures, implement Infrastructure as Code, and drive GenAI-based deployment strategies. Work with top-tier teams to modernize critical J2EE applications at scale.

• Architect and lead migrations to AWS Outposts with reusable blueprints and patterns.
• Implement automation strategies for provisioning, scaling, and patching using Terraform and Cloud Formation
  .
• Guide modernization of enterprise J2EE applications leveraging Dev Ops and Agile practices.
• Collaborate with AWS teams to define and approve migration patterns.
• Ensure cloud solutions are secure, scalable, and resilient.

• 8+ years in J2EE application architecture and enterprise migrations.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional).
• Deep experience with Java, JEE, Spring, Hibernate, EJB, Web Services, and application servers (Web Logic/Web Sphere).
• Proven skills in cloud migration, automation, Dev Ops, and Test-Driven Development.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS Outposts
  , IaC, and GenAI‑assisted deployment.

Hybrid cloud experience, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), advanced AWS certifications, enterprise security/compliance knowledge.

Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
