AWS Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Our client, a top-tier IT consulting company, has partnered with a leading Financial Institution in Dallas to hire an
AWS Cloud Infra Engineer
for designing, deploying, and maintaining AWS cloud infrastructure to support data platforms, trading systems, and time-series databases. Ensures scalable, secure, and cost-optimized environments for data engineering and analytics workloads.

• Design and manage
  
  AWS cloud infrastructure for data platforms (KDB, Databricks, and Timescale).
• Implementinfrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform/Cloud Formation.
• Build and managenetworking, VPCs, security groups, IAM policies.
• Configurecompute (EC2, EKS, ECS, and Lambda) and storage (S3, EBS, EFS) for scalability.
• Enablemonitoring & observabilitywith Cloud Watch, Prometheus, Grafana.
• Implement cost management and optimization strategies.
• Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements(encryption, logging, IAM).
• Strong expertise inAWS core services(EC2, S3, Lambda, VPC, IAM, Cloud Watch).
• Experience with
  
  IaC (Terraform or Cloud Formation).
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration(Docker, Kubernetes, EKS).
• Familiarity with
  
  CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployment.
• Experience incloud security(KMS, encryption, IAM best practices).
• Exposure to supporting data platforms(Databricks, KDB, or Postgre
  
  SQL/Timescale).
• Strong troubleshooting and performance optimizationskills.
