As the Manager of Enterprise Applications, you will wear two hats: you will manage the daily operations of the team, but you will also roll up your sleeves to execute technical tasks alongside them. You won't just assign tickets; you will help close them. Whether it’s writing a complex SQL query, architecting an API integration, or coordinating a deployment with our development partners, you will lead from the front.

If you are a technical leader who loves to stay hands-on with the code and data, this is the role for you.

Responsibilities
  • Technical Execution
  • System Administration: Act as a primary technical resource for the ERP and integrated systems. Jump into the support queue to resolve high-priority incidents or assist your team with complex incidents.
  • Data & Scripting: Write, optimize, and execute complex SQL queries for ad-hoc reporting. Maintain and optimize legacy business logic (Excel VBA/Macros) while identifying opportunities to modernize these workflows using newer technologies.
  • Integration Support: Monitor API data flows between the ERP, website, and logistics partners; personally investigate and resolve sync errors.
Leadership & Operations
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and prioritize the workload for a team of Application Administrators. Conduct code reviews and ensure the team delivers high-quality solutions.
  • Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks in manual processes and drive the transition toward more automated, scalable solutions (e.g., moving from Excel to Power BI or SQL-based reporting).
  • Incident Management: Enforce Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for ticket response times and ensure Root Cause Analysis is performed on major issues.
  • System Implementation: Participate in new software implementations from the sales cycle through implementation, testing and deployment.
  • Liaison to Development Team: Act as a technical bridge between the business and our overseas development partners.
  • Requirements & Testing: Help translate business requests into clear technical requirements for developers.
  • Quality Assurance: Lead the testing process (UAT) for new features and fixes delivered by the development team to ensure they meet standards before deployment.
Experience, Skills, & Ability Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in Systems Administration, Application Support, or Data Analysis.
  • 1+ years of experience leading a team, and managing projects

  • Excel/VBA Expert - Willing and able to debug and write macros
