Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly experienced Senior Network Engineer to play a key role in operating,
stabilizing, and evolving a complex enterprise network environment spanning on‑premises data
centers and AWS cloud platforms. This position is deeply technical and hands‑on, requiring strong operational ownership, advanced troubleshooting expertise, and the ability to contribute
meaningfully to network modernization initiatives. The successful candidate will work across
routing, switching, firewalls, and hybrid connectivity, supporting a mission‑critical environment while helping guide the transition from traditional infrastructure toward cloud‑enabled networking architectures. This role offers the opportunity to influence design decisions, improve operational maturity, and help shape the future direction of the network.
Key Responsibilities- Provide hands‑on engineering support across enterprise LAN, WAN, data center, and cloud networking environments.
- Lead complex troubleshooting efforts involving routing, firewall policy, connectivity, and performance issues, driving problems to root cause.
- Support and optimize hub‑and‑spoke network architectures across multiple locations.
- Design, implement, and operate AWS networking components including VPC architecture, route tables, transit connectivity, VPN, and hybrid networking patterns.
- Participate in and support data center migration initiatives from on‑premises infrastructure to AWS, ensuring seamless connectivity and minimal disruption.
- Operate and maintain firewall platforms including Cisco FTD, ASA, and Palo Alto, with focus on security, reliability, and policy integrity.
- Manage and support Cisco Catalyst 9300 switching infrastructure and Cisco Meraki branch networking.
- Evaluate existing network architecture and identify opportunities to improve resiliency, scalability, and operational efficiency.
- Contribute to automation initiatives using Terraform and related tooling to reduce manual processes and improve repeatability.
- Partner with infrastructure, security, and cloud teams to deliver reliable network services aligned with business needs.
- Share technical insights and operational experience to help strengthen overall team capability and technical depth.
- 10+ years of hands‑on experience supporting enterprise networking environments.
- Strong expertise in AWS networking, including VPC design, routing, hybrid connectivity, and secure cloud integration.
- Deep understanding of routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF and enterprise network design principles.
- Experience with Cisco technologies including Catalyst 9300, Meraki, FTD, and ASA.
- Hands‑on experience with Palo Alto firewall platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex, multi‑layer network issues under pressure.
- Experience working within multi‑site or hub‑and‑spoke architectures.
- Familiarity with infrastructure automation practices, including Terraform.
- Experience supporting or participating in data center to cloud migration efforts.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
- Maintains a stable and secure network environment through proactive engineering and strong operational ownership.
- Helps advance cloud adoption by enabling reliable hybrid connectivity and scalable network designs.
- Improves operational processes through automation and thoughtful engineering practices.
- Serves as a trusted technical resource across complex network initiatives.
