Job Title: SAP - Application Support Engineer
SAP Datasphere & SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) AMS Support Engineer (P4 – Expert)

Irving, TX
Work Model:
Onsite / Hybrid (3–4 days per week at client office in Irving, TX)
- The SAP Datasphere & SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) AMS Support Engineer is responsible for the stable operation, support, and optimization of the SAP analytics landscape. This role focuses on AMS (Application Management Services) support, including incident resolution, performance tuning, data pipeline monitoring, and user support across business domains.
- The ideal candidate will work closely with business users, functional teams, and data engineers to ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of SAP Datasphere and SAC solutions.
- Ensure smooth operation of SAP Datasphere data flows, connections, and SAP Analytics Cloud dashboards.
- Perform daily health checks and proactively address performance or data latency issues.
- Handle L2/L3 support tickets.
- Perform root cause analysis and provide permanent fixes.
- Document solutions and create knowledge articles.
- Deploy and validate SAP Datasphere and SAC configuration changes, models, and reports.
- Follow AMS release management and ITIL processes.
- Analyze and tune slow-running queries, data models, and dashboards.
- Improve overall system efficiency and reliability.
- Support business users with dashboard issues and data validation.
- Manage role-based access and security in SAP Datasphere and SAC.
- SAP Datasphere (SAP BTP Datasphere / formerly SAP Data Warehouse Cloud)
- SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Reporting
- AMS / Production Support experience
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- SAP S/4
HANA or ECC data models - Finance and/or Operations domain knowledge
- Power Utility industry experience
- Experience:
3–5 years of relevant SAP analytics/support experience - Education:
Bachelor’s degree required
