Description: Our client is currently seeking a ETL Developer w/ Snowflake.

Role: ETL Developer / Data Engineer (Snowflake)

Location: Jersey City, NJ, Dallas TX, or Tampa FL

Rate: $55-58 (must be able to accept w2 without sponsorship, NOW or at any time in the future)

About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced ETL Developer / Data Engineer with deep expertise in Snowflake and Talend to build large-scale data engineering pipelines within a financial services environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in complex data ecosystems and has a strong background in cloud-based data warehousing and risk-management-focused solutions.

• Design, develop, and optimize large-scale ETL pipelines using Talend and Snowflake
• Build and maintain cloud-based data warehouse applications
• Develop complex ETL transformations and ensure high-performance data processing
• Write, tune, and manage advanced SQL for real-time reporting across Snowflake, Oracle, and other warehouse systems
• Create and manage Autosys JILs for orchestration
• Develop Shell and Python scripts to support ETL pipeline orchestration
• Support CI/CD processes using Bitbucket, Git, and Liquibase
• Apply best practices in PL/SQL development and performance tuning
• Contribute to data modeling, data integration, and enterprise data architecture initiatives

• 7 years of experience building and maintaining large-scale data warehouse applications in the cloud
• Strong expertise with Snowflake, including data loading and performance tuning
• 5 years of advanced SQL development experience
• 3 years of PL/SQL development and optimization
• Hands-on experience with Shell scripting, Python, and Autosys
• Experience with Git, Bitbucket, Liquibase, and CI/CD pipelines
• Solid understanding of data integration concepts, data warehouse modeling, and enterprise data architecture patterns

• Experience in financial services
• Background in risk-management data pipelines
