Salesforce Functional Consultant (Administrative Focus)

About the RoleRFP Homes is in a phase of hyper growth, and we’re looking for a Salesforce Functional Consultant to join our corporate team and own our Salesforce platform as we scale.
This role reports directly to the COO and will oversee the entire Salesforce environment, supporting our sales organization and leadership team. While this position starts with a strong administrative and functional focus, there is significant opportunity to grow with the company, take on more responsibility, and increase compensation as the role and organization evolve.
We are looking for someone who sees the long-term vision, wants to grow alongside the business, and is excited by the idea of helping build scalable systems from the ground up.
This is not a development role—no app building or integrations required. The focus is strictly on Salesforce administration, configuration, optimization, and user support.
Responsibilities- Own and manage the Salesforce platform across the organization
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Salesforce-related requests and enhancements
- Partner closely with the COO and leadership team to support sales operations and reporting
- Lead discovery conversations to understand business needs and translate them into Salesforce solutions
- Configure and maintain Salesforce features including objects, fields, page layouts, validation rules, flows, automation, reports, and dashboards
- Ensure Salesforce data accuracy, cleanliness, and usability
- Manage enhancements from intake through deployment
- Create clear functional documentation and process workflows
- Support UAT, releases, and ongoing improvements
- Provide end-user support, training, and documentation
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve efficiency, adoption, and reporting
- Salesforce is the only platform required—no additional systems needed
- 2–4+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience in an administrative or functional role
- Strong understanding of Salesforce Sales Cloud core functionality
- Experience configuring Salesforce without heavy reliance on custom code
- Experience with declarative tools (Flows, validation rules, reports, dashboards)
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-moving environment
- Strong communication skills with both leadership and end users
- Experience using Left Main
- Salesforce certifications (Administrator, Advanced Administrator, Business Analyst, or Consultant)
- Experience working in a consulting or client-facing environment
- Experience supporting sales teams and leadership reporting
- Experience supporting custom objects and complex business processes
- Background in operations, business analysis, or process improvement
- Experience working in Agile or iterative delivery environments
- Salesforce supports the sales team smoothly and efficiently
- Leadership has clear, reliable reporting and visibility
- Users adopt processes with minimal friction
- The Salesforce org remains clean, scalable, and well-documented
