Git Hub AI Consultant Join our team as Git Hub AI Consultant to guide enterprises on their journey to becoming AI-powered organizations. In this pivotal role, you will help clients harness the combined power of Git Hub and Copilot to transform how they build software, accelerate developer productivity, and embed AI into their broader digital strategies.
You will lead enterprise enablement efforts by designing and facilitating workshops, offering technical guidance, and shaping adoption strategies that start with Git Hub Copilot and extend into an organization’s overall AI vision. You will work closely with engineering and platform leaders to deeply understand organizational needs, map Git Hub Copilot’s capabilities to address specific challenges, and establish best practices for effective AI adoption.
Your responsibilities will encompass not only technical enablement but also comprehensive change management, ensuring that development teams are equipped and empowered to maximize Copilot’s potential. This will include creating educational resources, leading onboarding sessions, and providing ongoing support to drive sustained engagement and continuous improvement. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally—partnering with Git Hub and Microsoft field teams, enterprise account managers, and client solution leads—to align Copilot adoption with broader business objectives and digital transformation goals.
Position Responsibilities
- AI Enablement & Strategy:
Design and execute enterprise adoption plans for Git Hub Copilot and related AI developer tools, aligned with business and digital transformation objectives. - Facilitate Enablement Workshops:
Deliver engaging sessions on prompt engineering, AI-assisted development, responsible AI practices, and workflow optimization. - Proof-of-Concepts & Pilots:
Support AI pilots (Copilot, Agent Mode, MCP) to validate enterprise use cases and measure impact. - Drive Adoption:
Partner with organizational leaders to embed Copilot and AI workflows into day-to-day practices, ensuring long-term adoption and value realization. - Collaborate Cross-Functionally:
Work closely with platform, migration, and delivery teams to embed Copilot into broader AI transformation initiatives.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- 4–6 years of professional experience in software development or technical consulting
- Strong development background in Java, C#, Python, JavaScript/Type Script
- Hands-on experience with Git Hub Copilot across multiple IDEs and workflows
- Familiarity with Azure OpenAI, OpenAI API, or similar LLM platforms
- Excellent technical communication and client-facing skills
- Git Hub Copilot certification (preferred but not required)

Lantern is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
Colorado Salary Range: $130,000 USD – $180,000 USD
