Energize Group is partnered with a leading IT consulting organization supporting a large enterprise VMware re-platforming initiative. They are focused on modernizing infrastructure and improving platform performance within complex production environments and are looking to bring on multiple Dev Ops Platform Engineers to support this effort.
As a Dev Ops Platform Engineer, you will support platform engineering and infrastructure modernization work, with a strong focus on Kubernetes operations, CI/CD automation, and production environment support. This role involves working closely with engineering teams to manage container platforms, troubleshoot infrastructure issues, and support large-scale platform migration efforts.
This is a 1-year engagement with a hybrid onsite schedule requiring 5 days onsite every other week.

Responsibilities- Support VMware re-platforming and infrastructure modernization initiatives
- Deploy, manage, and scale Kubernetes clusters
- Build and maintain Jenkins CI/CD pipelines
- Work within Linux/Unix environments for platform engineering and automation
- Develop automation using Shell, Python, or Groovy
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and production issues
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve platform reliability and performance
- 3–5 years of experience in Dev Ops, Platform Engineering, SRE, or Cloud Engineering roles
- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes (deployments, scaling, cluster operations)
- Experience with Jenkins pipeline authoring and administration
- Scripting experience (Shell, Python, or Groovy)
- Rancher experience
- Experience with CI/CD automation and container orchestration
- Ability to work in a hybrid onsite environment
Experience supporting enterprise infrastructure or large-scale platform migration initiatives is a plus.
