Akkodis QA Lead (Contract)

Akkodis is seeking a QA Lead for a contract with a client in Jersey City, NJ / Dallas, TX / Tampa, FL. You will bring strong expertise in Selenium automation and framework design, a critical qualification required for leading QA strategy in this role.

Rate Range: $45/hour to $49/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable automation frameworks using Selenium Web Driver with TestNG/JUnit/Cucumber to support regression, functional, and smoke testing.
• Define automation strategy, oversee framework enhancements, and ensure alignment with Agile/Scrum methodologies for continuous quality improvement.
• Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git Lab CI, or similar Dev Ops tools to enable continuous testing and faster delivery cycles.
• Mentor and guide QA engineers on best practices, code reviews, locator strategies, and script optimization to maintain high-quality automation standards.
• Analyze test results, generate detailed reports, and collaborate with stakeholders to identify defects, risks, and opportunities for test coverage improvement.
• Maintain and update automation scripts and test resources based on UI changes, application updates, and evolving project requirements.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 8–10 years of experience in QA automation, with significant leadership and Selenium automation framework experience.
• Strong hands‑on expertise with Selenium Web Driver, TestNG/JUnit/Cucumber, and automation framework design, including CI/CD integration with Jenkins or Git Lab CI.
• Proven ability to mentor QA teams, drive automation strategy, and maintain automated test suites in Agile/Scrum environments with effective reporting and analytics.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $49.00 per hour
